29. Well no need to take another test at the 4 week mark...the dreaded period showed up, which obviously confirms the first test. Although I wanted nothing more than to wrap up a positive pregnancy test and give it to the hubs as the best Christmas gift ever, I am very grateful for all of the blessings in my life.
If you've read my blog more than one time [doubtful since I have no followers :)], you would have read all of the things I was thankful for back atThanksgiving. Not to re-hash that but I am very grateful for my husband and my family and my friends. I was suuuuper sad Thursday through Saturday but was finally able to snap out of it. I almost lost it during Christmas Eve mass because I cannot understand why God's plan and mine don't match up. So often I go back to the question "do I not deserve a child?" Which leads to many more questions, which is essentially questioning my faith. I try to stay away from that train of thought but it happens more than I'd like to admit.
Moooving over to a more positive note, I got to spend a lot of time with my new nephew, Michael. I got to share my love with my 4 year old niece, Julia (she loved her cowgirl boots from us), and Andre (10) got a ticket to a hockey game, which he's never been so we are looking forward to sharing that first with him. Mom and Daddy blessed us with wonderful gifts and the hubs went waaaay overboard and got me a fantastic new Canon EOS Rebel Camera. I should have beautiful pictures to upload now....although we desperately need a new computer now too :( Additionally I received perfume (x2), clothes, a new toaster oven, wine glasses, and more. It was truly a wonderful weekend.
I look forward to a short week this week. I was off yesterday and I also took Friday off so a three day work week is great! Even though I felt completely hopeless last week I am hopeFUL that 2012 will bring many more blessings in my life.
