I do not want stretch marks.

I have read a bajillion times, and to my disappointment the facts are, it's hereditary.  You can cream and goo up as much as you want and your friends can swear buy whatever product the are just sure worked for them but it comes down to your genes.

Needless to say, I text mi madre to ask if she got them and I wasn't happy with the response.  Yes.  She did admit to indulging a bit while preggers but I really don't want stretch marks.  I know there are worse things.  I recognize this but that doesn't stop me from really really not wanting them.  Mom mentioned she isn't the only factor playing in here, half of my genes are from Daddy's side of the family.

Right now, the belly is stretch mark free.  I want it to stay that way.  I'm measuring 3-4 weeks bigger (if I was having a single babe) so far so good.

Changing subjects - I love sports. Duh. We are looking at going to the Rangers vs. Yankees tonight actually.  The series is 1-1 and the Yanks are going down!!

I hope my Nuggets love sports.  I joke with The Hubs (who is not a big sports guy) that I'll be blessed with boys who are artistic and musical and hate sports.  What an interesting Sunday that will make during football season -- Mom watching all the football games and yelling and/or cheering (ya right, I'm a Cowboys fan..there hasn't been much clapping the last few years) at the TV solo :)
